I went to Smith College in Northampton, MA. I enjoyed my time on the east coast very much. After college, I traveled and worked in Australia and New Zealand. I helped plan New Zealand’s first World Cup Ski Race. Skiing brought me to Colorado. I have been a coach at Team Summit and Copper Mountain for nearly 20 years.

I attended the University of Denver, School of Law.
I was determined to stay in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association and participate in the Trusts and Estate section.

I am always learning and became certified as an end of life doula. In 2017, I believe this helps me provide a more holistic approach to estate planning and end of days care. I have learned that having hard conversations in advance of crisis can bring families together.

I enjoy skiing, hiking and lots of water sports.
I like to read, make jewelry and spend time with family and friends. Chocolate is a food group and purple makes me happy.

Most importantly, I have three amazing adult children: Emma, Grace, and Nate and an exceptional granddaughter, Harper. I truly believe that being their mom is the most important and best thing that I do. If I do this well, the benefits and possibilities are endless. I have patterned my parenting after my own amazing parents who raised me in Beaver Dam, WI while running their own general practice law firm. Needless to say, my interest in the law goes back as far as I can remember.
